Children’s Ministry

Each of the class teachers are formally screened before allowing them to teach our precious children. Each Sunday morning at 10 am children get to participate in their own classes. Sister Karen Laine teaches Bible lessons in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn.

Youth Group

Having a safe fun environment for the youth of Santa Cruz to learn God’s word is important to H.L.C. Every Wednesday at 7 pm, youth build friendships and are guided through life’s challenging time of moving from child to adulthood. Each youth is equipped with knowledge and understanding to make difficult decisions with confidence, based off the Bible. Youth are encouraged to be bold and passionate about their relationship with Jesus.

Women’s Bible Study

Our Woman meetsat 10:30 am every Wednesday.  Sister Pat McCullough gives the ladies in our church family a special time of interaction, starting with a time of Bible Study and ending with a time for individual and corporate prayer. This group provides a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church. A time to grow, encourage, and confide in one another.

Men’s Accountability and Bible Study Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. This accountability group meets every Tuesday evening at 6 pm in our church annex. It discusses the struggles and strengths of men while teaching how to use those strengths and struggles for Christ.
